Here is your weekly BSN Denver Avalanche weekly prospect report. A look at top prospects throughout college, junior and minor-pro. Let's get started:

Nick Leivermann (36GP - 7G, 22A) - 2017 Round 7, Pick 187 (Defenseman, Penticton Vees - BCHL)

The Penticton Vees are saying “Upper-body injury” for Nick Leivermann, who is expected to miss a month of action. He was having a solid season for the Vees - gotta hope he can bounce back.

Conor Timmins (29 GP - 6G, 29A) - 2017 Round 2, Pick 32 (Defenseman, Soo Greyhounds - OHL)

After tearing it up at the World Junior Championships - Conor Timmins returned to the Son Greyhounds and sustained a lower body injury in a game against the Saginaw Spirit. Of course, he didn’t leave the game without making an impact - picking up an assist before the injury occurred. Expect him to miss a couple weeks as he recovers.

Dec. 10: vs Saginaw Spirit

W 3-1 - 0G, 1A

Travis Barron (40 GP - 8G, 20A) - 2016 Round 7, Pick 191 (Left Wing, Ottawa 67’s - OHL)

The Ottawa 67’s stretched their point streak all the way to three games before having it come to a grinding halt at the hands of the Peterborough Petes this week. Travis Barron was extremely quiet on the score sheet - as he didn’t collect a single point in the three games.
