The Colorado Avalanche ran away with one against the Dallas Stars in a 4-1 win in their return from the bye week. How did guys grade out?

Let's go to the grades!

Mark Barberio (C+) - Like a lot of the Avs, didn't stand out but didn't badly struggle either. He didn't hesitate to throw pucks on net when given the chance but they simply didn't result in productive attempts. An empty-net goal for funsies at the end gives him the plus.

Jonathan Bernier (A-) - A really strong effort from Bernier. He wasn't called upon as often as you might have expected but he was huge when he had to be. Big saves on breakaways changed this game. He got an assist on Barberio's goal which is more hilarious than meaningful but it gives me an excuse to bump his grade up to the 'A' ranks.

Gabriel Bourque (C-) – A very quiet night for Bourque after his best performance as an Av. You expected him to come back to earth and he did. I didn't see anything particularly harmful in his game, however, which is good.
