Jamal Murray to miss first game of NBA career

LOS ANGELES — Jamal Murray will miss the first game of his NBA career against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Murray is in the concussion protocol, Denver announced Wednesday afternoon.

On a Yogi Ferrell drive to the basket early in the fourth quarter Tuesday, teammate Mason Plumlee's right arm/elbow made contact with Murray's face. Murray was later seen holding his head throughout the fourth quarter during stoppages in play as he remained in the game.
